Spring Cleaning Projects for Your Practice
Remote-Friendly Projects You’ve Probably Been Putting Off
Hopefully, utilizing the past two Finish Well Friday blasts, you have spring cleaned your budget and created a new, improved routine for wrapping up your workweek. We hope you will feel like things are in good order despite the craziness around you and you are ready and able to enjoy the holiday weekend!
Planning the projects to do when you get back to your desk (wherever that is these days) will set you up for success and set your mind at ease to focus on family and faith this Easter weekend. Some of us have been swamped by extra projects and people to contact. Now that we have connected with most of our clients, gotten set up where we are now, we can reassess capacity and keep everyone feeling productive and “essential”.
We have been working this week on creating a list of projects that probably need a good spring cleaning or tasks you’ve just been putting off. Perhaps the next few weeks is the time to take these on.
Consider whether someone on your team can and should tackle any of these:
Confirm Comp Sharing arrangements are accurate
Decide if you need to spring clean your client list and turn people who are unresponsive into the home office
Update face to client and servicing advisor profiles
Clean up and add to your CRM
Set up Hearsay for texting with clients
Increase Secure Site and Total View enrollment and engagement
Publish Foundational Advice and invite clients to add more information
If you don’t need to do any of these things, give yourselves an “A” and share that with us so we can celebrate with you. If you require some work on any of these, we invite you to download the attached guide. If you like any of the ideas, but don’t have the capacity now, you can add any of these to your project plans if you want to put them off to a later date without forgetting them.
We are here to answer any questions that you have to keep you ahead. I believe these types of activities clear some mental and digital space, reduce waste, assure accuracy and get you ready to build into a sustainable and profitable future.
If you’d like additional guidance on any of these projects, contact Megan Ryan.
